We understand that consumers may find items at a lower price than we offer in-store, however we offer several advantages over on-line purchases. We hope that customers appreciate all of the differences that we provide and purchase their equipment from us.
Internet purchases do not benefit the employees who work so hard to provide the exciting diving activities, classes, and services offered by a retail store. For this reason we extend a greater level of service and attention to customers who do purchase from us.
A few of the benefits provide by a retail dive center that are not supported on-line:
Retail Store: GUDC provides a state of the art dive center with a pool that customers can physically visit, socialize, see new equipment and talk with staff members.
Professional Staff: GUDC hires professional instructors that work retail, which allows them to give our customers real input on equipment performance, maintenance, and proper fit.
Assembly and Warranty: Your equipment will be fully assembled by people you know, and will come with a manufactures warranty. Regardless of what on-line sellers try to convince their customer, retail dive stores will not honor an internet purchase warranty.
Service: GUDC has skilled technicians to service and repair all lines of diving equipment. We do not provide warranty service to mail-order diving equipment and may charge premium fees to service such equipment.
Instruction, Continued Education : GUDC offers unparalleled levels of diver training from basic diver to fully closed circuit instructor. We offer more levels of training than anyone, anywhere. Our instructors are amongst the finest in the nation.
Activities & Travel: GUDC provides several no-charge fun dive activities to promote not only the technical aspects of diving, but the social atmosphere as well. When we are not sponsoring local activities, we offer regional and exotic dive travel such as diving with wolf eels in British Columbia, snorkeling with Manatees in Florida, or exploring shipwrecks in Truk Lagoon.
